The year was 2015 when Honda brought back a model that first saw daylight in the late 1990s But unlike its rather boxy predecessor, the new HR-V was more curvaceous and was clearly aimed at the more stylish set. After three years, Honda Cars Philippines Inc. will be giving its compact crossover a refresh.
Set to be rolled out this August, the updated HR-V will sport a new front grille design, restyled full LED headlights, new front and rear bumpers, and the requisite revised alloy wheels. Apart from these changes, Honda was mum about the other revisions, though it did say that this new model will have a whole lot more style.
The Japanese carmaker did point out that the HR-V will now come with a new RS Navi variant. The HR-V 1.8 RS Navi will get a host of RS aero bits to give it a sportier vibe. There will also be two new colors to choose from—Phoenix Orange, which is exclusive to the 1.8 RS Navi, and Passion Red Pearl.
As for pricing, the new HR-V will have the following retail prices:
- HRV 1.8 E CVT: P1,300,000
- HRV 1.8 RS Navi: P1,500,000
Interested buyers can now reserve a unit at their nearest Honda dealer.
