As Christmas draws near, Manila’s car lovers will surely have more reason to celebrate as the 12th Manila Auto Salon and 24th Sport Truck Show open their doors at the SMX Convention Center at the SM Mall of Asia in Pasay City this weekend. Slated from November 29 to December 2, 2018, it promises to be yet another show-stopper for anyone into cars, trucks, Sport Utility Vehicles, and anything on wheels.
Organized by leading motoring events company Tradeshow International and sponsored by Delim Tires, the two back-to-back shows will occupy a total floor area of 9,000sq.m set across four exhibition halls. Visitors will be treated to over 200 show vehicles of different makes and models, dressed for show by Manila’s ever-thriving automotive aftermarket aficionados.
As with past shows, this year will see a host of entries vying for 6 Best of Show titles. The Manila Auto Salon will have the Custom Car, Tuner Car, and Extreme Custom Car trophies up for grabs. The Sport Truck Show, meanwhile, will pit various competitors against each other for the Sport Truck, Sport Utility Vehicle, and Extreme Sport Truck awards.
And yes, anyone into tuning, performance upgrades, racing, or simply looking to give their ride some TLC will have something to look forward to at the show. A slew of accessories and aftermarket parts, as well as car care products will be on hand to suit a wide variety of tastes and needs.
