At the recent Auto Shanghai motor show, various carmakers showed off their latest and future models that give a peek into what consumers can expect to see on our roads real soon. One such player is Bejing Hyundai Motor Company, the Chinese subsidiary of South Korea’s leading car manufacturer.
The Korean auto giant showed off its two latest offerings, the all-new Sonata and ix25. The Sonata, as many may know, is the brand’s flagship sedan that now boasts Sensuous Sportiness—the new design language that combines flowing lines with a hint of sporty style. The ix25, on the other hand, is an SUV interpretation of this design philosophy.
With SUVs dominating the market nowadays, Hyundai is banking on this model, along with the Sonata, to bring the latest in connectivity, driving dynamics, and mobility to market. The thrust is further complemented by the likes of the Elantra PHEV which, as the name suggests, is a plug-in hybrid version of the compact sedan.
Apart from the present offerings, future mobility was highlighted by Personal Mobility Devices that allow various types of individuals to become mobile. There were the e bike and E-Scooter. And there were booths tht allowed visitors to experience future tech such as Fngerprint Authentication Entry for their vehicles and the like. It’s all designed to give one a peek into what to expect in the coming years.
