The Hyundai Dream Centre Philippines may have only been around for a little over a year yet it has already had two batches graduate and go out into the world. The second batch recently held its graduation ceremony last June at the Hyundai Logistics Center in Calamba, Laguna.
The 43 young men and women come from the country’s marginalized sector and have the potential to make it in the world of automotive after-sales and customer service. This is what Hyundai Asia Resources Inc, Hyundai Motor Company, and Plan International—the team that put together the Hyundai Dream Centre Philippines—gave these young folks.
Taking after the first batch that completed the course last November, the second batch also received training in automotive technology, after-sales service, and customer care. These will help them as they pursue a career in the automotive industry, either with Hyundai or other top automotive brands. This training, in turn, is designed to provide a better experience for the customer—from the time they enter the showroom to shop for the new car to when they bring in their ride for service.
