The recently-unveiled Maxus G10 is designed to provide Max Adventure, Max Design, and Max Safety, says the British-bred commercial vehicle maker.
It caters to families who want to take every member along for the ride.
Now, this can also include the elderly and Persons with Disabilities, specifically the wheelchair-bound.
Not that they couldn’t come along before.
This time, however, Maxus makes it a lot easier with the new G10 Assist, which was launched in the local market.
While still offering the vaunted 9-passenger seating configuration with four captain’s chairs at the rear, this one has a few extras that make it truly senior- and PWD-friendly.
This is courtesy of the programmable swivel lifting seat that is placed right beside the sliding door. It can swivel to face the curb and lowered to street level for easy ingress and egress of wheelchair bound and passengers who have difficulty with mobility.
It can even be controlled via remote control or through an app on your iOS smartphone. And as the name suggests, it cn be programmed to remember your desired seating position and has a manual override function. There is even a low power detection system.
As with the regular G10, the G10 Assist is powered by a 1.9-liter turbodiesel motor that puts out 150hp and 350Nm of torque, mated to 6-speed AT.
It also has front and side airbags, 3-point seatbelts for all occupants, and rear camera, just to name a few.
And it comes with a 3-year or 100,000km warranty, a service interval that begins at 5,000kms and evry 10,000kms thereafter, and 24/7 emergency roadside assistance.
Priced at P1,680,000, the G10 can be outfitted with the Assist Package for an additional P399,000
With this, every member of the family can now come along for the adventure—no matter how mobile they may be.
