Last September 4, Porsche revealed its electrified soul with the global reveal of the Taycan.
For those living under a rock, the Porsche Taycan is a fully electric four-door sports car that more closely resembles the iconic 911 in terms of driving dynamics rather than the luxurious Panamera.
While this may not be surprising since it’s a Porsche, one must keep in mind that this car has no internal combustion engine and runs solely on electricity.
With production now in full swing and market deliveries set to begin in 2020, Porsche has revealed that the Taycan will be coming to the Philippines sometime next year.

We’re referring to the sheer pleasure of driving a Porsche—the responsiveness of the drivetrain and powertrain, the suspension, and other components all working in total harmony at the press of a pedal movement of the steering wheel.
This time, however, all this coming alive using two electric motors (one on each axle), taking the Taycan from 0-100kph anywhere from 4 to 2.8 seconds, depending on the variant.
Power output from these two electric mills ranges from 571 all the way to 761hp, while driving range is well above 400kms even for the base Taycan 4S with the “lesser” battery pack.
Plus, you can charge using either a home charger or Porsche’s efficient charging cable.
And yes, driving fun doesn’t come at the expense of harmful tailpipe emissions because, well, there is no tailpipe.
