Eurobrands Distributor, Inc. the official distributor of Peugeot vehicles in the Philippines, has launched its first Peugeot Philippines Tennis Invitational (PPTI). Hailing from the success of last year’s Peugeot Philippines Tennis Open, PPTI brings forth the French carmaker’s continued support for tennis, its athletes and aficionados in the country.

This time, however, things are going to be a little different as PPTI aims to spice things up by letting in players from various tennis clubs and groups nationwide. With this, more people will be inclined to love the sport, test their skills, and promote camaraderie among fellow players via friendly competition.

In detail, the PPTI will pull in 192 players from different tennis clubs and groups in the country. These participants will then be grouped into 3 divisions, the first being the Men’s Doubles for players 40 to 49 years old. The next division is the Men’s Doubles for players 50 years old and above. Finally, there’s the Women’s Doubles for players 40 years old and above.

Of course, there will be prizes at stake for each division winner. The highlight of which is an all-expense paid trip to Paris France to watch this year’s French Open (Roland Garros) match. The first-ever Peugeot Philippines Tennis Invitational will be held on March 10 to 12 at the Valle Verde Country Club Tennis Grounds in Pasig City.

Peugeot has been the French Open’s proud partner since 1984. Fast forward to 1989, the carmaker has since become its official mobility provider, chauffeuring VIPs, players, the media, and spectators to watch the prestigious sporting event.
