A few months after the Honda City got a mild nip-and-tuck, it’s now its hatchback brother’s turn to receive a refresh. Honda Automobile Thailand Co Ltd just unveiled the facelifted Honda Jazz, along with a sporty RS variant.

The updated Honda Jazz gets a new front grille, LED headlights and Daytime Running Lights, and revised front and rear bumpers. The Jazz RS, meanwhile, boasts cool touches like the new grille with RS logo, RS-style front bumper, black side mirrors, and an eye-catching Phoenix Orange paint job.

Inside, the Jazz gets new upholstery with orange stitching for that truly sporty vibe. This is complemented by the signature ULTRa seats that offer versatility and flexible cargo capacity, a multi-info display, touchscreen climate control interface, HDMI-capable infotainment system, and a pushbutton start system, among others.

The Honda Jazz is still powered by the vaunted 1.5-liter SOHC four-cylinder i-VTEC-equipped motor with 117hp and 146Nm. It is mated an Earth-Dreams Continuously Variable Transmission with 7-speeds, paddle shifters, cruise control, and ECON mode. It’s the kind of engine-tranny combo that gives off a hint of sportiness while still being efficient at the pump.

And yes, the standard safety kit still includes six airbags, G-CON body structure, Hill Start Assist, Vehicle Stability Assist, and more.

The new Honda Jazz, together with the sporty RS version, is now available in the Thai market.
