It was a meeting of two world-class athletes as US Open tennis queen Angelique Kerber came face-to-face with the modern-day icon of a sports car, the Porsche Panamera Turbo. The encounter took place just after Angelique arrived from her victory in New York City.
It was, however, no ordinary meet and greet. Angelique, being the game Porsche brand ambassador that she is, happily took the tiller of the four-door sports car and let loose all those 550 horses on her way to the photo shoot and press briefing. It was a perfect opportunity to show the world just how much of a performer both the tennis superstar and the grand tourer are. After all, the Panamera Turbo didn’t set the Nurburgring lap record of 7:38 minutes for nothing.
