Peugeot Philippines seems to be on a roll lately. Last October, the French carmaker brought in the Peugeot 3008 GT Line. This was quickly followed up with the entry of the 2008 and 5008. Now, it brings in another variant of the most recent European Car of the Year winner, along with a premium MPV to boot.

Peugeot Philippines unveils the 3008 GT Line Diesel, together with the Peugeot Traveller Premium Multi-purpose Vehicle. Both vehicles, Peugeot Philippines says, bring style, innovation and flair to their respective segments.

Taking its cue from the 3008 GT Line that was revealed to our market last year, the GT Line Diesel now packs a potent yet efficient 2.0-liter BlueHDI diesel motor that packs 150hp and 370Nm of twist. While these numbers seem modest on paper, Peugeot promises pleasurable driving, thanks in part to a lightweight chassis that also results in excellent fuel economy. The recent Department of Energy Fuel Eco Run witnessed this stylish SUV average 25.39km/L in mixed driving conditions.

While the 3008 gets a new heart, the GT Line Diesel still boasts of a few trademark features of its gasoline brother. The vaunted Peugeot i-Cockpit finds its way here, complete with a fully digital dash and raised seating to a less-stressful drive. This is further heightened by the i-Cockpit Amplify that that offers fully customizable settings for driving mode, interior scent, cabin lighting, and even massage seat function.

The Peugeot 3008 GT Line retails for P2,790,000.

As if this wasn’t enough, Peugeot Philippines also presents the Traveller Premium MPV. While this vehicle is essentially a platform-mate of the 3008, as well as the 308 hatchback and station wagon, the Traveller Premium MPV is unmistakably a people mover—a stylish one at that. It likewise shares the Peugeot family face with the chrome trapezoidal grille, and sleek headlights.

The overall profile gets a premium vibe with upmarket touches and features. One cool touch are the powered sliding doors that allow easy access to the roomy 7-seater cabin. In here, occupants are treated to generous legroom for all three rows. The second-row captain’s seats and third row can even be configured to face each other for conference-style seating.

Even if the Traveler is primarily an MPV, Peugeot has not forgotten about the driver. The Efficient Modular Platform 2 makes it light on its feet while the 2.0-liter BlueHDI diesel mill ensures more than adequate performance with excellent fuel economy. The driver even gets the QuickShift gear interface that allows one to simply turn a knob to choose gears.

To help protect the environment, Peugeot employs a Selective Catalytic Reduction system, a Diesel Particulate Filter, and an additive known as AdBlue that all combine to remove harmful nitrous oxide.

The Peugeot Traveller Premium MPV can be had for P3,390,000.
