Honda Cars Philippines Inc (HCPI) recently bagged six (6) awards in this year’s Auto Focus People’s Choice and Media’s Choice Automobile of the Year Awards. Held at the Valle Verde Country in Pasig City last October 13, Honda HCPI bested its competitors in the various categories.
The Honda City, for instance, took the People’s Choice Subcompact of the Year award. The all-new 10th-geneation Honda Civic, meanwhile, took home two top prizes—People’s Choice award for Compact Sedan of the Year, along with Media’s Choice for Best Engine in the Compact Sedan class. The sporty sedan, which was introduced locally only last April, wowed the judges with its combination of performance, creature features, and style.
As for the People’s Choice Award for Midsize sedan, the Honda Accord won top honors for this segment. Honda further bolstered its hold on the luxury category with the Honda Legend getting the People’s Choice for Luxury Large Sedan, while the Honda Odyssey took home the Luxury Van of the Year award.
All these honors reinforce Honda’s excellence in churning out some of the best cars in the business.
