Time Attack
Despite the treacherous weather condition, the morning’s Time Attack runs went underway. Rafael la O' established a “business as usual” momentum in Bracket R, which resulted to his 1st place win with a fastest lap time of 2.18.074. Gabby Sohu would claim 2nd fastest with his best lap time of 2:21.700.
In Bracket A, la O’ and Sohu led the time sheets again, this time with the latter taking 1st place. Jero Consing isn’t far behind either in 2rd place. Down in Bracket B, Aaron Lao made an astounding comeback to after a year’s absence to take 1st place. Gabby Sohu’s brother Raffy, would qualify 2nd fastest, while Ronn Catindig rounded off the podium in 3rd. In Bracket C, Douglas Maninding, Paul Santos, and Paul Ongcuangco completed the top 3 fastest drivers in that order.
Errol Panganiban kept a strong pace to win 1st in Bracket D, followed by Robert Tan in 2nd, and Avin Villaseñor in 3rd. As for Bracket E, Michael Anthony Ocampo, Royce Sarmiento, and Sherwin Bargos would become its fastest top three. Bracket F, meanwhile, saw JC Alberto establishing a commanding lead on the time sheets, followed by Allen Escoto in 2nd and Anthony Raymond Santos in 3rd. For Bracket G, the top 3 fastest drivers were Raymond 'Powee' Base, Alexis Khan Lavapie, and Ken Malang.
The round also featured time trial runs for the specialized Supercar Class. For this, Marbel Bayombong and his Nissan GT-R battled the elements to become the fastest. As for the 86 Class, Raffy Rabe dominated the field, while lady driver Gaby Dela Merced took control of the Asian V8 Championship.
