It al began with one dealership. Now, Motor Image Pilipinas, exclusive distributor of Subaru vehicles in the Philippines, aims for a larger market presence, along with giving its clients the total Subaru experience.
This was the message given by MIP during the launch of the all-new 2019 Subaru Forester recently. For 2019, Subaru plans to increase its presence in the country significantly from expanding its dealership network from the current 19 to as much as double the number. The goal is to have new dealers sprout up in key cities in Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao, as well as places like Calamba, Laguna, and La Union. Apart from this, the existing dealers are set to receive a makeover that will make them more customer and retail friendly.
To become more customer-centric—this is what the new facilities revamp will offer. This will make the dealerships more interactive, utilizing technology such as Virtual Reality to allow clients to “test drive” and get to know the vehicle of their choice more intimately. There will also be a “bright fragrance” that will not only make dealers more pleasant but will likewise give clients a total Imersive and sensory experience.
Of course, Subaru has taken into account that purchasing a new ride goes beyond the initial sale. This is why MIP has partnered with Motul, a leading maker of lubricants that are designed for high-performance engines such as those found under the hood of a Subaru.
With all these, Subaru hopes to become more visible and satisfy more clients in the coming year and beyond.
