We may sound like a broken record.

But we’ll say it anyway—the effects of climate change and global warming are fast catching up on us.

Yet all is not lost as many people are heeding the call to change their ways.

One such example is Nissan Motor Corporation, which celebrated Zero Emissions Day last September 21, 2019.

As the name suggests, the day was marked in honor of Mother Earth and how reducing carbon emissions can help save our planet.

We all know that automobiles are one of the biggest sources of greenhouse gasses.

So going green wouldn’t be a bad idea as it can help reverse the damage.

The day also showcased the innovative Nissan Leaf, the brand’s very own fully electric vehicle that has sold over 480,000 units worldwide since its launch in 2010.

While it may look like an ordinary vehicle from the outside, it doesn’t emit any harmful carbon monoxide---thus reducing one’s carbon footprint.

And even if it isn’t Zero Emissions Day, we can all do our share to help reduce emssions and its effects on our planet.

Turn off lights and other appliances when not in use, for instance.

Use a portable charger that harnesses the greatest energy source—the Sun—to charge up devices like mobile phones.

And drive a zero emissions vehicle if given the chance.

It’s all about making the right choices.

What have you done to reduce your carbon footprint?
