It may be the youngest and smallest member of the Audi SUV family. At 4.19m in length and a 2.6m wheelbase, it’s definitely diminutive. Yet this doesn’t mean the Audi Q2 is lacking in features and tech. This is especially true for the 2020 Audi Q2 that has just made its way to the Philippine market.
Sporting the youthful look of the current-generation subcompact crossover, it gets the trademark hexagonal Singleframe grille up front, flanked by LED headlights and daytime running lamps. The highlight on the side is the contrasting side blade on the C-pillar, while the rear boasts a spoiler and powerful-looking bumper.
Step inside and you’ll be greeted by a full leather interior with seating for five, along with their cargo. The Audi Virtual Cockpit finds its way here, complementing the Audi Sport-inspired flat-bottom steering wheel. The 12.3-inch instrument cluster display gives drivers all the pertinent vehicle and infotainment data at a glance. Paired with the 7-inch Multimedia Interface (MMI) that can be manipulated by buttons and a rotary knob on the center tunnel, you’ve got all the info you need while still being able to keep your eyes on the road ahead.
Apart from the aforementioned Virtual Cockpit package, Audi Philippines is also giving buyers the Ambient Lighting package. This one is more of a mood enhancer, which essentially allows users to play around with the color of the projected lighting within the interior—matching their current mood.
