To a Rolls-Royce patron, as well as those who are fond of the ultra-luxury marque, the Zenith moniker stands for only one thing: the end of a generation, an era if you will. But even upon opening the door, one’s eye wll be drawn to the illuminated door pockets. These then leads to the marquetry that runs across from the driver to the passsenger’s side. This can be had in either Technical fibre, wood, or piano finished veneer.
The folks from the Home of Rolls-Royce’s Bespoke Leathershop showcase their artwork which can be seen from the embroidered seats and headliner. This is no ordinary touch as the design and execution take inspiration straight from the 1907 Silver Ghost.
When one commissions the Standard Wheelbase version, one will be treated to a Starlight that features the Shooting Star motif. This one is no ordinary treatment as it boasts of 1,340 mapped and hand-woven fiber optic bulgs that have been set with an interplay that is truly dazzling to look at, says Rolls-Royce.
With the Ghost already being a special model in the Rolls-Royce family, the offering that has been touted as the World’s Best Motor Car from the onset back in 1907 is now made even more desirable thanks to the Zenith Collector’s Edition.
Those who want one should commission theirs quickly as only 50 of these masterpieces will be built.
