Last weekend saw Pinnacle Racing Team (PRT) finish with a strong fifth place at the 4 Hours of Fuji at the Japanese leg of the Asian Le Mans Endurance Series.
The second race of the 2016/2017 season witnessed team owner Ate De Jong, Charlie Robertson, and Martin Rump drive the Pinbett88-sponsored Ginetta LMP3 race car to a strong fifth-place victory.
Charlie Robertson made short work of the 4.563km Fuji Speedway to secure a P2 qualifying spot, which saw them on the third row of the starting grid. He then raced his heart out, followed by De Jong taking the wheel in the middle part of the incident-free race. The latter stages were done by Rump who went on to come in fifth overall.
The Pinnacle Racing Team’s Asian Le Mans Endurance Series campaign was also made possible with the help of partners Pinbett88 Redmount Group, Motul, and P1 Racewear. The series will resume on January 6-8, 2017 at the 4 Hours of Thailand, to be held at the Buriram International Circuit.
