March 12, 2017

On March 18, all roads will lead to the Batangas Racing Circuit (BRC) as the country’s premier grassroots motor sport event, the FlatOut Race Series (FORS), will hold its 2017 season opening round.

Providing opportunities for budding racing drivers to sharpen their skills on the track, the said motor racing series is now on its 3rd year and is still guided by the watchful eye of the Automobile Association of the Philippines.

For this year, racing aficionados will witness 8 rounds of on-track action, each divided into 2 races; Time Attack and Grid Race. In both these races, drivers will duke it out via lap time-based bracketing system, thus ensuring a fair and square game.

New for the 2017 race calendar is the inclusion of the GT Radial Philippine Endurance Challenge (PEC).  The GT Radial PEC is the country’s longest running endurance racing series. It will comprise of 2 rounds, a 4-hour preliminary round on June 4 and an 8-hour championship round on November 25. Both will take place at the BRC.

Do you have what it takes to push the pedal to the metal and beat the competition? If so, please note that the 2017 FORS will have an entry fee of P3,500 per class/bracket for both the Time Attack and Grid Races. To spice things up a notch, discount packages will be in store for those who’ll join more than 1 class/bracket.
