For around five years now, Chevron Philippines Inc. and its Caltex Fuel Your School campaign has been helping thousands of highest need public high school students in and around the country and providing them with what they need for an effective STEM program.
This year, the Fuel Your School program goes official in the Cagayan Valley region as participating Caltex fuel stations gear up to receive a P1 donation for every liter of fuel purchased from June 1 to July 31, 2019. This will allow these stations, located in Isabela, the Cagayan Vallye, Nueva Vizcaya, Quirino, Kalinga, and Ifugao provinces, to raise some P3 million that wil be divided among 30 of the highest need public high schools in the region.
With the money, these schools will be able to purchase laptops, projectors, microscopes, and other equipment that would benefit their Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math program. This would give the children a better shot at a brighter future.
