What’s your Trans Sport Show story?

Back in 1992, a group called TradeShow International put together an automotive event known as Trans Sport Show. At the time, it was meant more for the general public interested in seeing what the latest car models were. Over the years, however, it has evolved into an expression of what Filipino car culture is all about.

And the rest, as they say, is Trans Sport Show history.

Come May 23-26, the 28th staging of the country’s premiere car culture event once again returns to the SMX Convention Center for a fur-day run of pure automotive bliss. This year, as with the past three years, everyone who’s into cars and has gone to the show is encouraged to tell their own Trans Sport Show story.

It need not be a flowery montage of words. It can be a simple anecdote that shows how much you love a car displayed at the event. It’s about passion, how you connect with the cars, whether one of these are you own or not. It’s about the relationship between man and machine.

Take for instance a few enthusiasts who have enjoyed their time at the show over the year:

“As a motoring journalist covering the beat for decades, I have seen the growth of TransSportShow.  It has evolved to becoming the country’s standard in car modification and custom built trucks.. TransSportShow is an institution and part of the domestic automotive history. Kudos!”- Dino Ray Directo (Motoring Editor, Manila Times)

“My dream slowly became a reality when I joined TransSportShow where I won the coveted Best in Paint award. .. I am very thankful to Tradeshow International, Inc. for giving me this wonderful opportunity and for making me strive to be better in this endeavour.”- Richmond Sunga (Owner, Autogenix Carworx)

Of course, these are just some of the cherished memories folks have about the event. What’s your Trans Sport Show story?
