The heat is on. And so is the Holy Week break.

Yes, it’s that time of the year once again when Catholics are called to reconnect with God and reflect on their own spirituality. For most folks, it is also the time to head out of town, thanks to the long weekend off. For carmakers like Hyundai Asia Resources Inc, it is an opportune time to help motorists get the most out of their roadtrip.

The Hyundai Summer Motorist Roadside Assistance gives vehicle owners a few tips to help them enjoy a stress-free trek out of the city. Whether it’s a long drive or a short yet fun-filled journey to the outskirts of the Metro, the SMRA team is ready to lend a hand.

Even before you head out, the folks from HARI have a few reminders for you to keep in mind:

  • Always be prepared. At the risk of sounding like a broken record, always prepare your ride and yourself for that roadtrip. Make sure that everything, from oil levels to tires and everything in between, are in good working order. This also goes for you, the driver. Get a lot of rest, stay hydrated, and relax. This is the time to take a break and recharge. So no need to fuss. Simply be prepared and you’ve got nothing to worry about.
  • Why not get off the grid even for a day or two? Yes, we’re online pretty much all the time these days. So staying offline even for the Triduum from Holy Thursday to Easter Sunday wouldn’t be a bad idea. Not only is it the best way to renew your spiritual life, it may also give you a chance to recharge.
  • Should you need assistance while on the go, Hyundai has got a host of SMRA stations scattered across the country for your peace of mind.

So chill this Holy Week. Of course, don’t forget to reflect on His Sacrifice for us. Have a safe and Blessed Holy Week.
