If you’re a regular user of Bank of the Philippine Islands’ online banking portal or mobile app, you may have enjoyed the funds transfer feature that allows you to conveniently transfer funds to your peers wherever you are, 24/7.

While the bank recently announced some changes to its fee structure for online transactions beginning July 1, the good news is, you can actually continue to enjoy funds transfers to third party accounts for free. How?

By simply enrolling those third party accounts that you regularly deal with. What’s even cooler is that you can enroll up to 99 third party and merchant accounts in your online banking account.

By simply going to any BPI or BPI Family Savings Bank branch, or visiting https://www.bpiexpressonline.com/p/1/9/electronic-channels, you can enroll those accounts with ease.

UPDATE: BPI has made it easy for you to enroll your accounts so you can continue to enjoy transferring funds for free. All you have to do is to download, print and sign, then email the enrollment form:

Apart from the convenience of enrolling these accounts, another incentive is being able to transfer more than the usual P50,000 daily cap on unenrolled accounts. This is especially useful for large transactions performed on a daily basis. And thanks to the security measures put in place, transacting using BPI's online and mobile banking channels means you have total peace of mind.

Another way to enjoy free funds transfers is by using QR codes. Instead of keying in the 10-digit account number of the recipient, you can scan their QR code using your phone camera or import the QR code from your photo gallery.

It only takes 4 steps to generate a personalized QR Code for your account number through BPI Online or the new BPI Mobile app: https://www.bpiexpressonline.com/p/1/2226/create-a-qr-code

Free, convenient, and secure. That’s what you get from transferring funds to enrolled accounts or using QR codes. To learn more, visit www.bpi.com.ph.
