After a 2-month break, the 2017 Formula Masters Series (FMS) will be on high gear for the 5th and final time this year. It will be held on September 23 and 24, 2017 at the 5.5 km long Shanghai International Circuit in China.
In light of this, the Pinnacle Motorsport racing team is expected to give everything it’s got as it’s on the hunt to clinch valuable championship points.
One of its ace drivers, Tylor Cockerton, stands 2nd in the leader board. The New Zealander only has to win more than 16 points in order to become the 2017 FMS Drivers’ Overall Champion. Meanwhile, his Filipino-British teammate Ben Grimes, is on a mission to highlight he first year in the FMS with a top 5 championship slot.
The 5th round of the 2017 FMS will also see the debut race of Pinnacle Motorsport’s new guy, Billy Zheng. Hailing from China, Zheng (also known as Zheng Jia Nian), has a portfolio of professional racing experiences in Asian Formula Renault and the China Formula 4 Championship. He’s currently slated 2nd overall in the China Formula 4, and is eyeing to become the grand title holder in the said racing event.
